Ali Zafar's latest offering -- 'Aye dil'

The versatile Ali Zafar has proved himself time and again with his multi-dimensional film roles and his diverse range of music. And once again, the star from across the border has something to offer to his fans -- his second song for Coke Studio Season 8, ‘Aye dil’.
Ali's rendition of the famous Salim Raza number from the 1963 film 'Ik Tera Sahara' is with the talented singer Sarah Haider.Tackling old classics, by reinventing or remixing them, is by no means an easy task -- the expectations are huge because listeners/viewers are looking for something as good as the original.

In this case especially so as 'Aye dil' is one of the most popular tracks to have come out of the Pakistan film industry. But Ali has managed, and how! The song comes with an entirely new and refreshing feel and is sure to add another feather to Ali's already impressive music repertoire. ‘Aye dil’ was released in episode 4 of Coke Studio Season 8 on 5th September.
